Kitchen Rugs - This is the place where the cook decides on the rug!

One even hesitates to suggest to the cook what kind of rug is the best one for the kitchen.  But kitchen rugs don't really have to look like kitchen rugs (whatever that is).  They just have to suit the eye of the one who is in there most of the time.  Floor rugs come in all sorts of shapes, styles and colors.  The type of kitchen you have is second only to the personality of the cook.  So for the kitchen of your home, the floor rugs of that room depend on the taste of the chef!  (Pardon the pun).

If comfort is the first priority for kitchen rugs, maybe a braided rug would fit into the scheme.  They are soft and absorbent, and really homey looking.  But if you have a kitchen that is really "dressy", then you might want to have oriental style rugs for your floor rugs.  They look great on dark floors, or Mexican tile.

There are also many clever styles of kitchen rugs, that picture farm animals, French wines, or just pictures related to food preparation.  Floor rugs for your kitchen are available to suit the cook in your house.
